Impact Business Law BHR Digest
The Impact Business Law BHR (Business & Human Rights) Digest brings together articles and white papers relevant to Canadian companies and citizens that wish to further their efforts to reduce and ultimately eradicate forced labour and other human rights abuses in their supply chains. Most of the articles are written by Impact Business Law’s founder, Angie Redecopp [link to my bio page], and others are submitted by guest writers. Most articles focus on business & human rights and supply chain human rights due diligence (HRDD), but some are on responsible business and ESGs more broadly. Also included in the BHR Digest are reviews & updates – reviews of other BHR articles and updates on (mostly) Canadian news in this area. Suggestions and comments welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.
BHR Charity Partner – International Justice Mission
Impact Business Law partners with International Justice Mission, the largest anti-slavery organization in the world. IJM’s goal is to end slavery in our lifetime. IJM is working towards this audacious goal by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors, and strengthening justice systems around the world. In addition to forced labour slavery, which is Impact Business Law’s primary focus, IJM works in the areas of sex trafficking (including the online sexual exploitation of children), general sexual violence against children, citizenship rights abuse, police abuse of power, and land theft.
